2009 sees Northern Irish three piece imadethis start to build on the success and regional critical acclaim of their late 2008 debut “Tiny little robots” EP. The four radio friendly tracks “Tiny little robots”, “Phoenix down”, “Bettie Page” and “Fighting moonlight” offered the first hints of a band on a mission, that mission was to hone and develop an arsenal of killer hooks, choruses and memorable riffs delivered with precision and passion in equal measure.
Ciaran Harrigan, Nate Murray and Jay Dickson are three young men fuelled by a diverse and eclectic mix of musical influences and driven by a passion for excellence in everything they do. Each having previously performed in various local bands they knew from the off that this collaboration was special – different in its approach, delivery and intent - offering each of them a degree of freedom and affording them collectively an opportunity to destroy a few 4/4 myths along the way.
Well crafted songs, hard work and great live performances are their mainstay trademarks. Their live shows are a headlong, non-stop sonic adrenalin rush where they ably showcase their knack of fusing technology with rock sensibilities – forever pushing the very boundaries of what most would expect from a three piece.
Not content to rest on the plaudits the band have been busy writing, rehearsing and performing – constantly fine tuning an already metronomic rock machine for exposure further afield.
This year the band are stepping up a gear with plans to record and release more tracks from their extensive repertoire in various formats, new hook ups and a renewed hunger for gigs.
Jump in, it's going to be a blast!!
