Stephen Anderson is proud to present the latest addition to his loud and mighty roster of clients.

Following a new deal with Negative Progression Records, Stephen will be representing Atlanta’s most promising emo troupe, One Way Letter, in the UK.

Based in San Francisco and operated by Seth Hyman, Negative Progression Records already provide a homestead for The Progress, John Connor, A Burning Water, Aberdien and Little Compass. In 2005, the label launched One Way Letter’s debut full-length album “Where Everybody Knows Your Name” after the band cut their collective teeth playing gigs around the South Eastern US for three years.

One Way Letter have been heralded as one of the most energetic, promising and talented emo bands on the scene today. Their live show creates new fans by the truckload, sending critics into overdrive and creating an ever bigger buzz as it rolls through the States.

The diverse, ten-track album was recorded by Matt Goldman (Copeland, Cartel, TokyoRose) and spans classic rock to pop-driven sing-a-longs and heart-wrenching ballads. The album is characterised by the beautiful vocals of lead singer Selena Langley, who presents poetic lyrics that cut straight to the soul. The album also perfectly showcases the driving beats of drummer Craig Goldberg and dynamic powerhouse guitar-work from Mark Uhl and Lucas Tindall.

To promote the album, the band have expanded their live portfolio, touring the States extensively and becoming more widely known – and more greatly respected - with every live performance.

“Where Everybody Knows Your Name” has already knocked the critics for six, gaining 4 stars out of 5 from Alternative Press Magazine and labelled “an instant
classic” by Punkmusic.com – who also claimed it was one of the best albums they had have ever heard. And as if that’s not impressive enough, the band recently topped 150,000 plays on the wildly popular Purevolume.com.

Stephen Anderson has extensive experience in introducing US rock bands to the UK and is particularly thrilled to be part of the explosion that One Way Letter is about to ignite on the international circuit.

In addition to his latest deal with Negative Progression, Stephen Anderson is busy spreading the (hard) word on behalf of Metal Blade Records (As I Lay Dying, The Black Dahlia Murder, The Red Chord and Unearth) and Ferret Music (The Banner, Boys Night Out, LoveHateHero).

His forthcoming work with Negative Progression will see him expand on the exciting, edgy and ground-breaking selection of bands he is already representing – so be prepared for further fantastic announcements in the near future.
