STEPHEN ANDERSON IS PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT HE WILL BE REPRESENTING THREE GROUND-BREAKING, NEW ARTISTS IN THE UK.
Signed to the New Jersey-based label Ferret Music, The Banner, Boys Night Out and LoveHateHero are three stand-out bands with colossal futures. Unlike other Ferret Music artists, represented and distributed by Roadrunner Records, the bands have entered a separate distribution deal with Wallingford’s Plastic Head Music, leading distributors of Hardcore, Death Metal, Black Metal, Goth, Punk and Ska in the UK.
And Stephen Anderson’s passion for metal and hardcore coupled with his extensive experience in representing American rock bands across the spectrum, makes his press office the natural home for the bands - three of the most original and promising bands on the US circuit.
The Banner have been on the New Jersey hardcore scene since 2000, when their unique blend of hardcore, punk and black metal blasted its way to the zenith of north eastern hardcore. Their latest album, Each Breath Haunted, released this month, is their finest display of bone-crushing breakdowns and fearsome ballads yet. Their live performances continue to push the boundaries of live insanity and their recent switch to Ferret Music is sure to spell success.
Ontario’s Boys Night Out signed with Ferret in 2003 and have taken a creative leap with their latest album, Trainwreck. Released in July, the album is light years away from the purely punk vibe they felt they’d been pigeonholed into. With classic clap-along anthems and unexpected, metallic prog-rock, the band has created a masterpiece that will reach out to new audiences and established fans alike.
Californian five-piece LoveHateHero started life in 2003, ensconced in a Burbank studio. Their drug-free lifestyle is reflected in an emotional, thought-provoking and intense style that is often lacking among their peers. After tireless self-promotion and two years of unprecedented commitment to their music, the band found their way to spiritual home Ferret Music in early-2005.
Ferret Music’s CEO, Carl Severson, says; “After spending the Spring and Summer working on the Sounds Of The Underground for UK press with Stephen, and seeing his successes there it just made sense to further the relationship between Stephen Anderson Publicity and Ferret Music. With projects as new as LoveHateHero and The Banner and as important and large as Boys Night Out, we're looking forward to a great year.”
In addition to his work with Ferret Music, Stephen Anderson continues to develop his close working relationship with the mighty Metal Blade Records, representing amazing bands including As I Lay Dying (currently on the Ozzfest tour), The Black Dahlia Murder (whose latest album Miasma entered the Billboard Top 200 in its first week of release) and The Red Chord (scheduled to play Day 3 of this year’s Hellfest together with Psyopus – unmissable!).
Metal Blade Record’s Head of Promotion, Andreas Reissnauer, says; “Metal Blade Records couldn’t be more happy to continue the strong collaboration with Stephen Anderson Publicity. The agency proved with their strong work on bands like As I Lay Dying, Unearth, The Red Chord and The Black Dahlia Murder that they have the abilities to push bands to the next level in the United Kingdom. With the help of Stephen Anderson Publicity Metal Blade Records is looking forward to a stronger market position in the UK!”
Expect further announcements from Stephen Anderson publicity in the very near future!!
