THE RED CHORD ARE ON A HELL-BENT MISSION TO MESH, MASH AND PULP THE GENRES OF HARDCORE, DEATH, GRIND AND METAL.

Fusing the very best elements of the music that inspires them, The Red Chord are poised to release a long awaited and formidable new album, back-dropped by a six-date tour of the UK.

Hailing from the north shore area of Massachusetts, the five-piece have been one of the most hotly tipped outfits on the underground scene since their formation in 2000. Their acclaimed album Fused Together in Revolving Doors was cited as a hugely influential crossover recording for grind-hardcore and metal, and they were snapped up by Metal Blade Records in 2004.

New album, Clients, will be released on May 16th and is described by vocalist Guy Kozowyk as “a lot heavier and angrier” than its predecessor. To ensure that the record was as colossal and brutal as humanly possible, the band enlisted the services of engineer/producer Zeuss (Hatebreed & Shadows Fall) at Planet Z. The artwork, which features portraits of each “client” mentioned on the album, is equally fierce, having been designed by artist Paul Romano, famed for his work with Godflesh, Nasum and Mastodon.

The band have already been commended by the likes of Revolver, AP, Rock Sound, Terrorizer, Unrestrained and Decibel magazine (who, incidentally, have become the first major publication to award the record a 10/10 review) and now Clients is set to blow the critics, as well as the fans, away.
So the stage is set for The Red Chord to release one of the most important albums of 2005 – and the band will be setting that stage alight when they embark on a huge summer schedule of live dates.

Following a tour of the States with Bury Your Dead, A Life Once Lost and If Hope Dies, the band head to the UK in June ’05 to steamroll through six amazing dates, including London, Leeds and Manchester. Bing Me The Horizon, Shaped By Fate and Narcosis are already confirmed to join The Red Chord on the tour, which is sponsored by Rock Sound and Terrorizer.

Following the UK dates the band hook up with the “Sounds of the Underground” tour for a host of east coast dates. The line-up on the tour includes, Clutch, Gwar, Poison The Well and Opeth.

Clients, together with the live dates, will create one of the most exciting and dynamic hardcore explosions in recent history. Watch this space for the fallout.
